Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today highlighted the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act’s (Recovery Act) accomplishments in improving water quality in hundreds of rural communities across the Nation, and announced funding for 25 additional projects in 16 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

“These Recovery Act investments in water and wastewater infrastructure are helping deliver safe drinking water to rural residents and protecting the environment,” Vilsack said. “The projects advance the Obama Administration’s effort to rebuild the nation’s infrastructure, and they are putting Americans to work across the country.”
