To raise awareness about the risks of hurricanes and summer flooding and encourage residents to purchase a flood insurance policy to protect the life they’ve built, FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program is partnering with communities this hurricane season.
Outreach efforts will extend from Texas to New England during the peak of hurricane season.
Spread the word about the importance of preparing for hurricanes by purchasing flood insurance now before devastating flooding occurs. The materials can be used now and throughout the summer, being mindful of sensitivities in your area if a flooding event is imminent or a community is recovering from a recent storm.
